Dove Myer Robinson Park
Dove Myer Robinson Park, or commonly reffered to as Parnell rose Garden, is located 5 minutes from downtown Auckland. The park is named after the longest serving and popular mayor who served Auckland for 18 years. The gardens are a showcase for 5000 rose bushes and with its formal layout, it is a very popular venue for weddings. The best time to visit the gardens are between October & April however, when we went, many roses were no longer at their best, with many bare rose bushes. We'll definitely have to pay this park another visit next season.

Agapanthus, a South African native which is often referred to as the

useful for holding banks. However, it has invaded coastal cliffs and has now been
declared a pest plant in Auckland, banning it from being sold
